Whirlpool Dryer Noise Repair Completed in Florham Park, NJ
A Whirlpool dryer in Florham Park made excessive noise whenever the drum tumbled. After disassembling the dryer, we found worn drum support rollers and a worn drive belt. We replaced the rollers and belt, reassembled the machine, and tested tumbling operation. The dryer returned to smooth, quiet performance.
Whirlpool Washer Diagnosis Completed in Colonia, NJ
A Whirlpool washer in Colonia was unresponsive and had stored error codes. Diagnostic testing of the other major systems passed, pointing toward a problem with the shifter/actuator. The correct replacement part was ordered, and the repair will be completed after the part arrives.
GE Washer Drive Belt Repair Completed in Perth Amboy, NJ
A GE washer at an investment property in Perth Amboy had poor spin performance. Inspection found that the washer drive belt had burned and failed. We replaced the belt and tested the machine. Because the washer has considerable age and wear, we also advised the owner about its overall condition and recommended preparing for eventual replacement.

If you approve the repair, your total includes the service-call fee, parts, labor, and applicable tax.

02Is there a higher fee for Saturday service calls?+
No. We charge the same service-call fee for weekday and Saturday appointments.
03Do you provide service in my town?+
We serve listed towns in Middlesex, Union, Morris, Somerset, and Essex County, New Jersey.
04Can you repair a new appliance under manufacturer warranty?+
No. We do not provide manufacturer warranty service. Contact the manufacturer or retailer.
05Do you service appliances covered by a home-warranty company?+
We do not work directly for home-warranty insurance companies. You may hire us independently and seek reimbursement from your program.
06Do you offer a free or waived service-call fee?+
No. The $120 service-call fee covers the initial visit and diagnosis. Approved repairs include that fee plus parts, labor, and applicable tax.
07Is American Appliance Service a franchise?+
